# Can I add a booking directly in google calendar?

If a booking is added directly in google calendar can YCBM recognize the appointment?

@Michael the system will recognize that there is now a busy event on the target calendar, but won’t associate the event as a booking. Only bookings made through the booking page or API will show up on the YCBM side.
