# Custom availability with specific start times

Hi

I´m trying to set up 45 minute time-slots for participants to book. Each day I have custom availability marked in my google calendar as timespans between 08:00-10:15 and 10:30-12:00. Room for 3 participants in the first timespan and 2 participants in the second timespan with a short 15 minute break in between timespans. The issue I have is that for my second timespan, the starting time get set to 11:00. This leaves room for only 1 participant in the second timespan. I want it to start at 10:30 as I have specified in my google calendar.

I have tried different grid set ups but I end up allowing participants to book 45 minutes any time they like and if they don´t choose 08:00 as starting time but instead choose 08:15 or something. The allotted 4 hours won´t be enough to test 5 participants. So, smaller increments wont seem to resolve the issue.

With a 45 minute grid display, it will take your set working hours and break it into 45 minute segments, so you can only have available start times at 8:00, 8:45, 9:30, 10:15, 11:00, 11:45, 12:30, 1:15, 2:00, 2:45, etc.

So while your 8:00 start time works with a 45 minute grid display, 10:30 does not.

You can instead set up a 15 minute grid display with a 45 minute booking duration, and then set 45 minute Custom Availability slots on your calendar at 8:00-8:45, 8:45-9:30, 10:30-11:15, 11:15-12:00 and just those start times will show.
