# Does transferring booking owner send webhook events?

If we were to follow [these instructions for transferring a booking to a new team member](https://support.youcanbook.me/article/517-how-do-i-transfer-a-booking-to-a-team-member), would our webhook receive any events for this change?

@caseyo No. The webhook will only fire after a trigger is fired. So after a booking is made, if it is cancelled, rescheduled, reminders and follow ups. Changing ownership does not trigger a notification from our system.

I seem to have found out the same thing by testing. Thanks!
