Hello,
In a move that is very annoying (and also feels like desperation), Google seems to be turning on a feature wherein every calendar event created automatically gets a Google Meet. This option needs to be deactivated in the general settings:
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/r/settings
This “feature” is VERY annoying. For a few days, I kept having people show up at the wrong place because of it.
