We make bookings in our store for our consignment members. first attempt to make a booking in-store works, when we try to make a second booking for same customer the booking fails with an error message and the browser reports the link as “misconfigured booking page”. We do not use Teams. The link address: consignorteam.youcanbook.me
@Michael you may need to bring up the page in a new private browsing window if you are using a shared kiosk. When you go to make a booking a unique intent id is added to the URL. Something like this: ?i=itt_1234567890000
If the next person attempts to book with the same intent ID they could run into issues. Every customer should be seeing just the URL here: https://consignorteam.youcanbook.me/ to start a unique booking process. Feel free to send me a direct message (click my name then message) you can provide additional details about the in store experience.
Thanks Ben,
Our volunteers sometime make appointments for our members at individual work stations. A member (i.e. customer) will sit with a volunteer (i.e. worker) at a work station to consign the member’s items. On occasion a member will ask the volunteer to make a future appointment and the volunteer uses our custom consignment software to create the URL and open a chrome browser using the URL. The format of the URL is pictured below:
Once the appointment is made the usual YCBM confirmation screen is displayed and the volunteer closes the browser and control passes back to the custom software. The error occurs when a second appointment is attempted.
This error is new since we have been able to successfully make multiple appointments up until now. Please let me know what additional info you might need to fix the problem.
Ben,
It looks like the intent ID is not being generated when a second appointment is immediately sent after the first appointment is successful. However, after waiting about 1 minute the system adds the intent ID and a second appointment can be made.
