I like that you can rebook and reschedule bookings that have not yet been confirmed by admin. However (for example) you cannot slide the appointment forward by 30mins if the appointment duration is an hour long. It will only show availability for an hour after the one you are trying to reschedule. eg.) I want to move the one hour appointment at 1pm to 1:30pm but I need to cancel the appointment first in order to get the system to show availability at 1:30pm. It would be much more efficient if it showed my 1:30pm availability when I choose “Reschedule” because this is the appointment that I am trying to move in the first place.
Hi @yukon
This is definitely on our product team’s radar, and I’ve gone ahead and added your vote to the feature request so they can see the demand for it.
In the meantime, a possible workaround you might consider would be to accept the booking first, and then manually edit/move the event directly in your Google Calendar. YouCanBookMe will sync up with that change and update the appointment to the new time.
I realize this isn’t a perfect solution since you’ll have to double-check that the new time doesn’t have any conflicts and send your client a quick note about the update, but it does keep you from having to cancel and restart the booking from scratch.
OK, that would work and I didn’t know that was possible. So thank you!
We would also appreciate this change.
We have to cancel and rebook in these instances.
Many thanks
Thanks for sharing this @Highland I’m happy to add your vote to this request!
