Please allow us to edit the booking details submitted in a booking in the YCBM admin.
I frequently run into situations where a client makes a mistake on their booking (e.g. a street address with a typo) and asks for it to be updated. It sounds like at the moment the two ways to handle this are:
Cancelling and rebooking. That’s inelegant for the client and not a good use of staff time.
Or updating the address in the calendar info, but the reminder emails that YCBM sends would still have the wrong info on it.
Ideally YCBM would allow for any contents submitted by a booker to be edited without the fuss of cancelling and rebooking.
@LeroySchulz We have some plans to allow this with an option to allow your bookers to login to manage their bookings and information. This is not 100% and still needs to be defined. Will be end of this year or next year when we tackle this.

Letting the bookers manage their bookings and information would be brilliant. In my business, nearly every customer is a repeat customer so that would be useful to them.
In the meantime, I would settle for being able to update booking details myself to avoid the issues in my original post.
How’s this looking these days? Can we get an update?
My busy season is winding down so with a little more time on my hands I’m eager to streamline my business processes. I’m really hoping that some of these feature suggestions have been already implemented or will soon.
Hi Ben, once again asking for an update about this pain point. It’s been years that many of us have been asking for the ability to update details that bookers have submitted.
The fact that YCBM doesn’t allow for this has caused so much frustration and confusion for our customers over the years.
It’s been years and we’re hearing that there are “some plans”.
Plans and priorities have changed. I will talk with the team and see how we can test something out. I am also going to reach out with a time to connect so I can learn more on what you need this to do, to understand the pain point further, if you were open to it.
Is there any update about editing from admins? We also have mistakes from customers sometimes and automation stops working because of this. I can fix mistakes in workflows in manual mode, when it happens, but it’ would be great just to edit event and not to have this mistakes at all.
Please, implement this feature !
Note how many years I’ve been asking for this feature to be implemented. And also how many years I’ve been asking for an update about the feature request.
I saw… A bit weird for me. In my opinion this is not something that impossible. I like other features, especially flexibility which is possible by simultaneous work of different calendars, many options with webhooks and api of course.
But I have database of customers, and when they make an appointment there is a logic how to understand if it is an existing customer or a new one. And if they mistakenly put different letter , then everything doesn’t work and webhooks with notifications can’t work. It happens few times per week and it’s annoying. Editing of visit will solve this.
I hope , that developers will implement this. Otherwise , I’ll slowly create my own system in codex))
If to add there {NOTE}, which is editable, then I can configure logic in N8N workflow to check it and if it is not equal ‘null’ then to use different logic and it will find customer from this note. This is not straightforward, but better than nothing.
I am working up improvements to our booking dashboard, which will include the ability to edit all form fields. I do not have a timeline for implementation.
This is possible at the moment via API and a PATCH (v1/bookings/{bookingId}) with all answers,answers.string,answers.code with the changes you need to make.
One option to ensure that your workflows are the same, you could create passthrough fields and use URL parameters to pre-fill them (More info here) with the existing customer data you have. This would depend on your workflow on how customers are scheduling, if it is through an email then that would work, if it is through your website directly it may be a bit tricky.
It frequently happens that a client enters wrong information into a booking field, like a street address or other booking details. There’s currently no way to edit those details so it’s often easiest to cancel their appointment and manually recreate it with the correct details.
That’s a hassle, looks inelegant, makes our system look sloppy to clients, and consumes staff time.
It’s wild that after so many years of customers asking for this YCBM still doesn’t offer a way to edit all of the booking details.
