Contacts Page & Override Availability

Hi there, looking to migrate over to YCBM from Calendly.

There are two features that Calendly has that I wish YCBM had.

The first is a contacts page showing everyone that has booked with us. We often book sessions in for our clients on their behalf on Calendly so it’s useful to just click on them in the contacts page and then all their information is pre-populated in the form. I know that YCBM has the rebook feature when looking at past events, which works but a contact page would be preferable.

The second is the option to override our own calendar to make a booking outside of our standard availability. In Calendly, if we’re logged in and looking at our booking page there is a button to “Override Availability” which means we can book an appointment for any time. This is really useful if we’re doing a meeting outside of our usual hours but we still want it to be booked through Calendly. I think the workaround in YCBM is to change our availability, make the booking, and then change our availability back, which does work but isn’t ideal.

Thanks!

@mattejones thank you for your suggestions and feedback! We are working on a new version of our platform and are exploring the Admin Override option to allow you more control to when folks can book. We are still in the early stages of planning this out, potentially this will be creating a One Time Booking Link with select availability you choose and that is all that is an option to pick from.

The Contacts side of things (a CRM type feature) is also something we have considered. We do have plans to revamp the bookings dashboard, and I will propose this to the team to see what work we can do. As you mention you can search your bookings for a person and use the Rebook option to rebook them, or get them a link with all their details filled out, but I could see it being better displayed by the email address/person.
