Request to Enable Additional Stripe Payment Methods (e.g., Bancontact, Klarna)

Hi Community,

I wanted to raise a concern regarding the Stripe integration within YCBM. While Stripe itself works perfectly, the current implementation seems to limit payment methods to credit cards only.

In regions like Belgium, Bancontact and Klarna are widely used for online payments, as credit cards are more commonly associated with B2B transactions rather than B2C customers. Even though these alternative payment methods are activated in Stripe, YCBM appears to use its own configuration within Stripe that doesn’t allow customization to include these options.

This restriction is a significant challenge for businesses like mine, where offering localized and preferred payment methods is crucial for conversion rates. Additionally, I’ve noticed that other users on this forum have also highlighted the same limitation.

Since YCBM already integrates with Stripe, expanding support for additional payment methods seems like a logical and relatively simple improvement. It would be a game-changer for businesses in regions where credit cards aren’t the default online payment choice.

I hope the YCBM team can consider this as a priority for future updates. It would greatly enhance the platform’s flexibility and usability for a broader range of users.

I’d love to hear if anyone else is facing similar challenges or if there’s a known workaround in the meantime.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

@jorendeldcio sorry on the delay your post was flagged. We are exploring expanding the Stripe functionality, but in order to do this we have to change the booking process. I’ll connect with the team to check on the progress with this.
