YCBM Bookings Despite "Busy" Outlook Event for Week of April 7

Hello, I will be away during the week of April 7th, so I created an all-day event spanning the entire week in my Outlook calendar, marked as “Busy,” to prevent YouCanBookMe from accepting appointments during that time.

However, I noticed that two bookings were still made for Monday, April 7th. I will reach out to those clients and reschedule them manually, but I’d like to avoid this issue in the future.

Could you please check why YCBM did not respect the “Busy” status for this event, and advise on how to prevent similar issues going forward?

Thank you for your help!

@Amine sorry for any confusion here. I checked in the logs and at the time of these two bookings I do not see any busy event reported from Microsoft. I have seen it in the past that changes were made a computer instance and not on the online version of the Microsoft calendar. Or there could have been a delay with getting things setup. I do see that the 7th is set with a busy event now.

Thank you for your support. In fact, the API is probably not showing you all events. That week, there is a week long event in place before the booking but it wasn’t taken into account. The busy event you saw, I placed after this post when I created a daily meetings running from early morning to late in the evening to block the days. But for some reason, the system doesn’t show all day or all week events when placed in the calendar.

@Amine I can see this multi day event now. Keep in mind that all day/multi day events will default to FREE events. Our system will only block the BUSY events.
