YCBM branding on emails

I just noticed that our emails to our customers are showing this footer: “This email was sent to you about a booking made through YouCanBookMe.”

This was not the case before, not for the years that we have been using YCBM. When did this start? This is a sneaky and unwanted way to advertise YCBM in a way that is not relevant to our customers.

@LeroySchulz this change was made in 2023. We previously had an unsubscribe option, which was causing problems as bookers were unsubscribing and not getting additional notifications about their active bookings. Since there is no unsubscribe we needed an explanation of the context of the notification and the origin to not violate spam laws.
